    Among his most relevant experience, he has been a Superior Judge from Costa Rica for several years, both as a Criminal Judge and as a Judge of the Superior Court of Judgment in several Judicial Circuits of our country, where he had knowledge of the number of criminal cases, of all kinds, especially on Economic Crimes, Crimes against Life and drug trafficking cases, among many others specialties. During this work period he received extensive training in Criminal Law and related subjects, dismissing his position to the Judicial Power of Costa Rica to be able to rededicate himself to the private practice of his profession as a Specialist in Criminal Law. He has also been a University Professor, both in Public Universities (Costa Rica National University - UNA) and Private Universities (UACA and Universidad Latina).

    Within his professional experience, Mr. Carlos has participated in several of the most complex criminal proceedings with wide press coverage at a national and international level, such as the last one of the trials of the so-called "Case of the Social Compensation Fund", for example, and doing both Criminal Defenses and interposing Criminal Lawsuits and Civil Actions to the clients, among other tasks.
